Joel is a Queer Latino singer, actor, and dancer based out of New York City.
Born around the sunny shores of Tampa, Florida, Joel's journey into the world of performing arts began with a curious decision to choose theatre as his first-grade elective. From that moment on, he was captivated by the magic of the stage, a passion that only grew stronger as he progressed through grade school. After graduating from, Florida Atlantic University's Department of Theatre & Dance, Joel wasted no time to begin his journey in New York City.
Joel has portrayed a diverse range of roles, from the charismatic Frank Jr. in "Catch Me If You Can" to the poignant portrayal of Jamie in "The Last Five Years," and the comedic stylings of Officer Barrel in "Urinetown." His performances have graced venues all across the country, including the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, The Wold Performing Arts Center in Boca Raton, and The Green Room 42.
